لم تكن خسارة منتخب السعودية أمام منتخب مصر برباعية نظيفة مجرد هزيمة عابرة يمكن أن يتجاوزها الشارع الرياضي بعد صافرة الحكم بساعات، بل الواقع أنها هزيمة حملت في طياتها دلالات رقمية مقلقة تعكس حجم الفارق الفني المباشر بين المنتخبين، وبين المنتخب وباقي خصومه المنتظرين في المونديال الذي لم يتبق عليه سوى 74 يوماً.
وتغلّب المنتخب المصري على مضيفه المنتخب السعودي بنتيجة (4-0)، في المباراة الودية التي أقيمت بينهما على ملعب مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة، ضمن معسكر الأخضر الإعدادي خلال فترة أيام (FIFA) الدولية لشهر مارس، والمقام في إطار المرحلة الثالثة من برنامج الإعداد لكأس العالم FIFA 2026.
وعزز المنتخب المصري تفوقه التاريخي، بعدما رفع رصيده إلى خمسة انتصارات من أصل ثماني مواجهات، مقابل انتصارين للأخضر وتعادل وحيد، كما وسع الفراعنة الفارق التهديفي بوصولهم إلى 24 هدفاً، مقابل تسعة أهداف فقط للمنتخب السعودي.
وتعد هذه الخسارة الأولى للأخضر بفارق أربعة أهداف منذ مشاركته في كأس العالم 2018، عندما تلقى هزيمة قاسية بنتيجة 5-0 أمام منتخب روسيا، ما يعيد فتح ملف الأداء الدفاعي ويضع الجهاز الفني أمام تحديات كبيرة قبل الاستحقاقات القادمة.
وخلال 67 مباراة خاضها (الأخضر) تحت قيادة هيرفي رينارد، حقق الفوز في 30 مواجهة مقابل 16 تعادلاً، بينما تلقى 21 خسارة، مسجلاً 80 هدفاً، واستقبلت شباكه 61 هدفاً، في أرقام تعكس طابعاً هجومياً واضحاً يقابله تذبذب دفاعي.
وعلى الرغم من تحقيقه نجاحاً بارزاً في مونديال قطر، إلا أن رينارد أخفق في العديد من البطولات ككأس الخليج وكأس العرب، فضلاً عن تأهله الصعب للمونديال.
ويُسجل رينارد أرقاماً تاريخية غير مسبوقة، إذ يعد أكثر مدرب في تاريخ المنتخب السعودي تعرضاً للخسارة (21)، وكذلك الأكثر تعادلاً (16)، إضافة إلى الأكثر استقبالاً للأهداف (61).
وتبقى هذه الأرقام جرس إنذار حقيقي للمنتخب السعودي، في وقت يواصل فيه المنتخب المصري تأكيد تفوقه التاريخي بثبات.
وقرر المدير الفني للمنتخب هيرفي رينارد استدعاء حارس مرمى نادي العلا محمد العويس للالتحاق بمعسكر الأخضر في جدة قبل المغادرة إلى جمهورية صربيا، في إطار المرحلة الثالثة من برنامج الإعداد لكأس العالم FIFA 2026، التي تستمر حتى 31 مارس الجاري.
كما استدعى رينارد من معسكر المنتخب الوطني (B) اللاعبين: نواف بوشل، خليفة الدوسري، محمد محزري، محمد المجحد، وعبدالعزيز العليوة، للانضمام إلى معسكر الأخضر، وتحويل اللاعبين مراد الهوساوي وتركي العمار إلى معسكر المنتخب الوطني (B).
كما تم استبعاد اللاعب متعب الحربي من بعثة الأخضر المغادرة إلى جمهورية صربيا، وذلك بناءً على التقرير الطبي المقدم من الجهاز الطبي للمنتخب، الذي بيّن بعد إجراء الفحوصات اللازمة على موضع إصابته عدم جاهزيته، وحاجته إلى برنامج علاجي وتأهيلي.
وفي ذات السياق، قرر المدير الفني للمنتخب الوطني استبعاد اللاعبين علي لاجامي وحسن كادش من قائمة الأخضر المغادرة إلى صربيا بقرار فني.
وغادرت بعثة المنتخب الوطني الأول مساء أمس (السبت) إلى العاصمة الصربية بلغراد استكمالاً للمعسكر الإعدادي المتضمن مواجهة منتخب صربيا ودياً الثلاثاء القادم.
وتضم قائمة الأخضر 27 لاعباً، هم: نواف العقيدي، محمد اليامي، أحمد الكسار، محمد العويس، نواف بوشل، متعب المفرج، خليفة الدوسري، محمد محزري، عبدالإله العمري، ريان حامد، سعود عبدالحميد، علي مجرشي، أيمن يحيى، سلمان الفرج، عبدالله الخيبري، محمد كنو، نايف مسعود، محمد المجحد، خالد الغنام، عبدالعزيز العليوة، زياد الجهني، مصعب الجوير، سلطان مندش، عبدالله الحمدان، مروان الصحفي، صالح الشهري، فراس البريكان.
The loss of the Saudi national team to the Egyptian national team by a clean four-goal margin was not just a fleeting defeat that the sports community could overlook hours after the referee’s whistle. In reality, it was a loss that carried concerning numerical implications reflecting the significant technical gap between the two teams, and between the national team and its other upcoming opponents in the World Cup, which is only 74 days away.
The Egyptian team defeated its host, the Saudi team, with a score of (4-0) in the friendly match held between them at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, as part of the Green’s training camp during the international (FIFA) days in March, which is part of the third phase of the preparation program for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The Egyptian team reinforced its historical superiority, raising its tally to five victories out of eight encounters, compared to two wins for the Green and one draw. Additionally, the Pharaohs expanded the scoring gap, reaching 24 goals compared to only nine goals for the Saudi team.
This loss marks the first time the Green has lost by a four-goal margin since its participation in the 2018 World Cup, when it suffered a harsh defeat of 5-0 against the Russian team, reopening the file on defensive performance and presenting significant challenges to the coaching staff ahead of upcoming commitments.
During the 67 matches played by the Green under Hervé Renard’s leadership, they achieved 30 wins, 16 draws, and 21 losses, scoring 80 goals while conceding 61, reflecting a clear attacking character countered by defensive fluctuations.
Despite achieving notable success in the Qatar World Cup, Renard has failed in several tournaments such as the Gulf Cup and the Arab Cup, in addition to the difficult qualification for the World Cup.
Renard records unprecedented historical figures, being the most losing coach in the history of the Saudi national team (21 losses), as well as the most draws (16), and the most goals conceded (61).
These figures remain a real wake-up call for the Saudi national team, while the Egyptian team continues to confirm its historical superiority steadily.
The head coach of the national team, Hervé Renard, decided to call up Al-Ahli goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais to join the Green’s camp in Jeddah before departing for the Republic of Serbia, as part of the third phase of the preparation program for the FIFA World Cup 2026, which continues until March 31.
Renard also called up from the national team (B) players: Nawaf Boshul, Khalifa Al-Dosari, Mohammed Mahzari, Mohammed Al-Mojahid, and Abdulaziz Al-Aliwah, to join the Green’s camp, while transferring players Murad Al-Hosawi and Turki Al-Amar to the national team (B) camp.
Player Muteb Al-Harbi was also excluded from the Green’s delegation heading to the Republic of Serbia, based on the medical report provided by the team’s medical staff, which indicated, after conducting the necessary examinations on his injury site, that he was not fit and needed a therapeutic and rehabilitation program.
In the same context, the head coach of the national team decided to exclude players Ali Lajami and Hassan Kadish from the Green’s list traveling to Serbia for technical reasons.
The first national team delegation departed last night (Saturday) to the Serbian capital, Belgrade, to continue the training camp, which includes a friendly match against the Serbian national team next Tuesday.
The Green’s squad includes 27 players: Nawaf Al-Aqeedi, Mohammed Al-Yami, Ahmed Al-Qassar, Mohammed Al-Owais, Nawaf Boshul, Muteb Al-Mufarij, Khalifa Al-Dosari, Mohammed Mahzari, Abdulilah Al-Amri, Rayan Hamid, Saud Abdulhamid, Ali Majrashi, Ayman Yahya, Salman Al-Faraj, Abdullah Al-Khaibari, Mohammed Kanno, Naif Masoud, Mohammed Al-Mojahid, Khalid Al-Ghanam, Abdulaziz Al-Aliwah, Ziad Al-Jahani, Musab Al-Juwair, Sultan Mandash, Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Marwan Al-Sahafi, Saleh Al-Shehri, and Firas Al-Buraikan.
