ضبطت هيئة المهندسين 10 شركات كبرى تعمل في مجالات المقاولات وإدارة المشاريع في عدد من مدن المملكة، وذلك بعد رصد قيامها بتشغيل كوادر هندسية وفنية دون التأكد من سريان اعتمادهم المهني.
وأسفرت الجولات الرقابية الميدانية التي نفذتها الهيئة في مدن الرياض والخبر والدمام عن رصد 684 حالة تشغيل لكوادر هندسية وفنية يعملون باعتماد مهني منتهٍ لدى تلك الشركات، في مخالفة صريحة للمتطلبات النظامية المنظمة لمزاولة المهن الهندسية.
وبلغ إجمالي الغرامات المطبقة على الشركات المخالفة 1,686,000 ريال، وفق الإجراءات المنصوص عليها في نظام مزاولة المهن الهندسية.
جولات رقابية
وسبقت الهيئة هذه الإجراءات بإرسال رسائل نصية إلى الأرقام المسجّلة للمنشآت عبر منصة «أبشر»، وذلك ضمن حملة «#معتمد_ولا_لا»، لتنبيه الشركات إلى ضرورة التحقق من سريان الاعتمادات المهنية لكوادرها الهندسية.
وأكدت الهيئة أن تشغيل كوادر هندسية أو فنية دون اعتماد مهني سارٍ يُعد مخالفة نظامية تتحمل المنشآت مسؤوليتها، مشددةً على ضرورة التزام الشركات والمنشآت الهندسية بالتحقق من سريان الاعتمادات المهنية للعاملين لديها قبل إسناد أي مهام هندسية لهم.
ودعت الهيئة جميع شركات المقاولات والمنشآت الهندسية إلى الالتزام بالمتطلبات النظامية المنظمة للمهنة، مؤكدةً استمرار الجولات الرقابية في مختلف مناطق المملكة لضمان ممارسة هندسية نظامية ترفع جودة المشاريع وتعزز سلامة المجتمع.
The Engineering Authority has apprehended 10 major companies operating in the fields of contracting and project management in several cities across the Kingdom, after monitoring their employment of engineering and technical staff without verifying the validity of their professional accreditation.
The field inspection tours conducted by the authority in the cities of Riyadh, Khobar, and Dammam resulted in the identification of 684 cases of employment of engineering and technical staff working with expired professional accreditation at those companies, in clear violation of the regulatory requirements governing the practice of engineering professions.
The total fines imposed on the violating companies amounted to 1,686,000 Riyals, in accordance with the procedures stipulated in the Engineering Professions Practice Law.
Inspection Tours
Prior to these actions, the authority sent text messages to the registered numbers of the establishments via the “Absher” platform, as part of the “#Certified_Or_Not” campaign, to alert companies to the necessity of verifying the validity of their engineering staff’s professional accreditations.
The authority confirmed that employing engineering or technical staff without valid professional accreditation is a regulatory violation for which the establishments are responsible, emphasizing the need for companies and engineering establishments to ensure the validity of the professional accreditations of their employees before assigning any engineering tasks to them.
The authority called on all contracting companies and engineering establishments to comply with the regulatory requirements governing the profession, affirming the continuation of inspection tours in various regions of the Kingdom to ensure lawful engineering practices that enhance project quality and promote community safety.
