علمت مصادر «عكاظ» داخل البيت القدساوي أن إدارة نادي القادسية لم تدخل في أي مفاوضات مع اللاعب محمد أبو الشامات بشأن زيادة عقده في الوقت الحالي، وذلك في ظل الأنباء التي تم تداولها خلال الساعات الماضية حول وجود مفاوضات بين الطرفين لرفع راتبه السنوي، إضافة إلى منحه مميزات أخرى تتعلق بعقده، في وقت يوجد فيه المفاوض القدساوي خارج المملكة.
وكانت إدارة نادي القادسية قد جددت عقد أبو الشامات في وقت سابق، ليستمر مع الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بالنادي حتى عام 2029.
ويُعد أبو الشامات من الأوراق المهمة التي يعتمد عليها المدرب الإيرلندي بريندان رودجرز في تشكيلته، الأمر الذي دفع إدارة النادي إلى الحرص على تجديد عقده وضمان استمراره مع الفريق.
ويجيد أبو الشامات، البالغ من العمر 22 عاماً، اللعب في مركز الظهير الأيمن، ويُعد من أبرز اللاعبين المحليين المميزين في الكرة السعودية، بعدما قدم مستويات لافتة مع القادسية خلال الموسم الماضي، كما تدرّج في الفئات السنية للنادي حتى وصوله إلى الفريق الأول.
Sources within Al-Qadsiah Club informed “Okaz” that the club’s management has not entered into any negotiations with player Mohamed Abu Al-Shamat regarding an increase in his contract at this time, amidst reports circulated in recent hours about negotiations between the two parties to raise his annual salary, in addition to granting him other benefits related to his contract, while the Qadsiah negotiator is currently outside the Kingdom.
The management of Al-Qadsiah Club had previously renewed Abu Al-Shamat’s contract, allowing him to continue with the club’s first football team until 2029.
Abu Al-Shamat is considered one of the important players relied upon by Irish coach Brendan Rodgers in his lineup, which prompted the club’s management to ensure the renewal of his contract and secure his continuation with the team.
Abu Al-Shamat, who is 22 years old, excels in the right-back position and is one of the most prominent local players in Saudi football, having shown remarkable performances with Al-Qadsiah during the last season, as he progressed through the club’s youth categories until reaching the first team.
