اعترف مدرب الهلال سيميوني إنزاغي بضعف مستوى فريقه خلال مواجهة «الكلاسيكو» أمام ضيفه الاتحاد، والتي انتهت بنتيجة التعادل الإيجابي بهدف لكل منهما، في المباراة التي جمعتهما على ملعب المملكة أرينا، ضمن منافسات الجولة الـ23 «جولة يوم التأسيس» من الدوري السعودي للمحترفين (روشن). وقال: «لم نقدم المستوى الذي يتوقعه منا الجميع خلال المباراة وسندرس هذا القصور بعد تحليل المباراة لاكتشاف الأخطاء ومعالجتها في المباريات القادمة»، مبدياً حزنه على الخروج بالتعادل، إذ كان يبحث عن الفوز وتعزيز صدارته، وقال: «في الشوط الثاني لم نكن جيدين ومن الطبيعي أحزن على ضياع النقاط الثلاث وعدم المحافظة على الصدارة». وجاءت بداية المباراة سريعة لصالح الهلال، الذي افتتح التسجيل مبكراً عبر البرازيلي مالكوم في الدقيقة الخامسة، ولم تمر دقائق قليلة حتى تعرض الاتحاد لطرد مدافعه حسن كادش في الدقيقة التاسعة، ليكمل الفريق اللقاء بـ10 لاعبين.
ورغم النقص العددي، استطاع الاتحاد الحفاظ على توازنه، وتمكن من إدراك التعادل في الدقيقة 53 عن طريق لاعبه الجزائري حسام عوار، واختتم إنزاغي حديثه بقوله: «كنا قريبين من التسجيل لولا تألق حارس الاتحاد رايكوفيتش الذي وقف سداً منيعاً أمام هجماتنا، ولكن لن نتوقف كثيراً أمام هذه المباراة وسنعمل من أجل استعادة الصدارة والتتويج باللقب».
يذكر أن فريق الهلال صار وصيفاً برصيد 54 نقطة، بفارق نقطة واحدة خلف النصر الذي اعتلى الصدارة بعد فوزه على الحزم، في المقابل، وصل الاتحاد إلى 38 نقطة في المركز السادس، ليواصل المنافسة على تحسين موقعه مع دخول الموسم مراحله الحاسمة.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, Al-Ittihad managed to maintain their balance and equalized in the 53rd minute through their Algerian player Houssem Aouar. Inzaghi concluded his remarks by saying: “We were close to scoring if it weren’t for the outstanding performance of Al-Ittihad’s goalkeeper Rajkovic, who stood as a solid wall against our attacks, but we will not dwell too much on this match and will work to regain the lead and clinch the title.”
It is worth mentioning that Al-Hilal is now in second place with 54 points, just one point behind Al-Nassr, who topped the standings after their victory over Al-Hazm. Meanwhile, Al-Ittihad reached 38 points in sixth place, continuing to compete to improve their position as the season enters its decisive stages.
