كشف محافظ بنك اليابان المركزي كازو أويدا أن الأوضاع المالية في البلاد لا تزال مواتية، وأن الأمر قد يستغرق بعض الوقت لتقييم تأثير رفع الفائدة السابق.
وأوضح في مؤتمره الصحفي الذي أعقب اجتماع البنك: «سنواصل رفع الفائدة إذا تحققت توقعاتنا الاقتصادية ورؤيتنا للأسعار، لكن الوتيرة والمسار سيعتمدان على التطورات حينها».
وأضاف وفقًا لوكالات اعلامية غربية: «سندرس البيانات المتاحة بعناية في اجتماعات السياسة النقدية، وسنحدث رؤيتنا بشأن التطورات الاقتصادية وتوقعات الأسعار والمخاطر واحتمالية تحقيق توقعاتنا».
The Governor of the Bank of Japan, Kazuo Ueda, revealed that the financial conditions in the country remain favorable, and it may take some time to assess the impact of the previous interest rate hike.
He explained in his press conference following the bank’s meeting: “We will continue to raise interest rates if our economic forecasts and our outlook on prices are realized, but the pace and path will depend on developments at that time.”
He added, according to Western media agencies: “We will carefully examine the available data in monetary policy meetings, and we will update our outlook on economic developments, price forecasts, risks, and the likelihood of achieving our expectations.”
