أدان رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم جياني إنفانتينو بشدة منتخب السنغال، الذي انسحب لفترة وجيزة عقب احتساب الحكم ركلة جزاء لمنتخب المغرب في نهائي كأس أمم أفريقيا 2025 مساء أمس (الأحد).
وقال إنفانتينو: «إنه يتوقع عقوبات مناسبة بعد المشاهد الفوضوية، إذ فاز منتخب السنغال في نهاية المطاف على منتخب المغرب بهدف دون رد بعد التمديد لوقت إضافي، ولكن بعد دراما متأخرة في الوقت الأصلي عندما احتسب الحكم ركلة جزاء مثيرة للجدل لصالح أصحاب الأرض، وانسحب لاعبو السنغال من أرض الملعب، احتجاجاً على قرارات الحكم، بناءً على أوامر المدرب باب ثياو، متجهين إلى غرف الملابس، كما وقعت اشتباكات بين المشجعين وقوات الأمن في المدرجات. وعادت السنغال بعد 16 دقيقة، ثم أهدر إبراهيم دياز ركلة الجزاء».
وأضاف إنفانتينو قائلا: «لسوء الحظ، شهدنا أيضاً مشاهد غير مقبولة في الملعب وفي المدرجات، ندين بشدة سلوك بعض المشجعين وكذلك بعض لاعبي السنغال والجهاز الفني، ومن غير المقبول مغادرة الملعب بهذه الطريقة، وبالمثل، لا يمكن التسامح مع العنف في رياضتنا، فهذا ببساطة ليس صحيحاً، يجب علينا دائماً احترام القرارات التي يتخذها مسؤولو المباراة داخل وخارج الملعب».
وختم رسالته قائلا «أتوقع أن تتخذ الهيئات الانضباطية ذات الصلة في اتحاد القدم الأفريقي الخطوات المناسبة».
FIFA President Gianni Infantino strongly condemned the Senegal national team, which briefly withdrew after the referee awarded a penalty to the Morocco national team in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 last night (Sunday).
Infantino said: “He expects appropriate sanctions after the chaotic scenes, as the Senegal national team ultimately won against Morocco with a score of 1-0 after extra time, but after late drama in the regular time when the referee awarded a controversial penalty in favor of the hosts, the Senegal players left the field in protest against the referee’s decisions, based on orders from coach Pape Thiaw, heading to the locker rooms. There were also clashes between fans and security forces in the stands. Senegal returned after 16 minutes, and then Ibrahim Diaz missed the penalty.”
Infantino added, saying: “Unfortunately, we also witnessed unacceptable scenes on the field and in the stands. We strongly condemn the behavior of some fans as well as some Senegal players and the coaching staff. It is unacceptable to leave the field in this manner, and similarly, violence in our sport cannot be tolerated; this is simply not right. We must always respect the decisions made by match officials both on and off the field.”
He concluded his message by saying, “I expect the relevant disciplinary bodies of the African Football Confederation to take appropriate steps.”
