قدّم الاتحاد السنغالي لكرة القدم شكاوى رسمية إلى الاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم (كاف) واللجنة المنظمة، عبّر فيها عن اعتراضه على ما وصفه بظروف غير ملائمة رافقت وجود منتخب بلاده في المغرب، وذلك قبل مواجهة المنتخب المغربي في نهائي كأس أمم أفريقيا المقرر إقامته الأحد.
وأوضح الاتحاد السنغالي، في بيان صدر فجر السبت، أن بعثة المنتخب واجهت عند وصولها إلى العاصمة الرباط نقصاً في الترتيبات الأمنية، عقب انتقالها من طنجة بالقطار، معتبراً أن هذا الوضع أدى إلى ازدحام غير مرغوب فيه وعرّض اللاعبين والجهاز الفني لمخاطر لا تتماشى مع معايير مباراة نهائية قارية.
وأشار البيان إلى وجود إشكالات أخرى تتعلق بالإقامة، حيث أفاد الاتحاد بأنه اضطر إلى تقديم شكوى مكتوبة من أجل تأمين فندق مناسب للفريق، من دون الكشف عن طبيعة السكن الذي تم اقتراحه في البداية.
كما أثار الاتحاد السنغالي تحفظاته بشأن مرافق التدريب، مؤكداً رفضه إجراء الحصص التدريبية في مجمع محمد السادس لكرة القدم، الذي اتخذه المنتخب المغربي مقراً لتدريباته طوال البطولة، ويواصل التدريب فيه قبيل النهائي. واعتبر الاتحاد أن هذا الأمر يطرح تساؤلات حول مبدأ العدالة الرياضية، لافتاً إلى أنه لم يتلق حتى الآن إخطاراً رسمياً بمكان بديل للتدريب، وهو ما انعكس أيضاً في جدول الأنشطة الإعلامية اليوم السبت، حيث لم يُحدَّد موقع تدريب المنتخب السنغالي.
وفي ما يتعلق بالجماهير، عبّر الاتحاد عن قلقه من حصة التذاكر المخصصة لأنصاره، موضحاً أنه لم يتمكن من الحصول إلا على 2850 تذكرة، وهو الحد الأقصى المسموح به من قبل كاف، معتبراً أن العدد لا يلبي حجم الطلب، ومبدياً اعتراضه على القيود المفروضة على حضور الجماهير السنغالية.
ودعا الاتحاد السنغالي في ختام بيانه كاف والجهات المنظمة إلى التدخل العاجل واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لضمان تكافؤ الفرص، واحترام مبادئ اللعب النظيف، وتوفير الظروف الأمنية والتنظيمية المناسبة لنجاح المباراة النهائية.
ويخوض المنتخبان المغربي والسنغالي النهائي وكل منهما يطمح إلى التتويج بلقبه الثاني في كأس أمم أفريقيا، إذ يسعى المغرب لإنهاء انتظار دام نحو خمسة عقود منذ لقبه الأول، فيما يتطلع منتخب السنغال إلى تعزيز إنجازه بعد تتويجه باللقب عام 2021.
The Senegalese Football Federation submitted official complaints to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the organizing committee, expressing its objection to what it described as unsuitable conditions accompanying the presence of its national team in Morocco, ahead of the match against the Moroccan team in the Africa Cup of Nations final scheduled for Sunday.
The Senegalese federation clarified in a statement issued early Saturday that the team faced a lack of security arrangements upon its arrival in the capital, Rabat, after traveling by train from Tangier, considering that this situation led to undesirable congestion and exposed the players and coaching staff to risks that do not align with the standards of a continental final match.
The statement pointed out other issues related to accommodation, as the federation reported that it had to submit a written complaint to secure a suitable hotel for the team, without disclosing the nature of the accommodation that was initially proposed.
The Senegalese federation also raised its concerns regarding training facilities, confirming its refusal to conduct training sessions at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, which the Moroccan team has used as its training base throughout the tournament and continues to train at before the final. The federation deemed this matter raises questions about the principle of sporting fairness, noting that it has not yet received official notification of an alternative training location, which was also reflected in the media activity schedule on Saturday, where the location for the Senegalese team’s training was not specified.
Regarding the fans, the federation expressed its concern about the ticket allocation for its supporters, explaining that it was only able to obtain 2,850 tickets, which is the maximum allowed by CAF, considering that this number does not meet the demand and expressing its objection to the restrictions imposed on the attendance of Senegalese fans.
In conclusion, the Senegalese federation called on CAF and the organizing authorities to intervene urgently and take the necessary measures to ensure equal opportunities, respect the principles of fair play, and provide the appropriate security and organizational conditions for the success of the final match.
Both the Moroccan and Senegalese teams are competing in the final, each aiming to win their second title in the Africa Cup of Nations, with Morocco seeking to end a nearly five-decade wait since its first title, while the Senegal national team looks to enhance its achievement after winning the title in 2021.
