أدان الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم بشدة الواقعة «العنصرية المقيتة» التي شهدها الملعب الخاص بنادي إسبانيول في مدينة برشلونة، خلال المباراة الودية التي جمعت المنتخب الوطني المصري بنظيره الإسباني مساء أمس (الثلاثاء).
وأعرب الاتحاد عن رفضه التام لترديد بعض الجماهير عبارات وشعارات عنصرية معادية للمسلمين، بالإضافة إلى عدم احترام النشيد الوطني المصري، مؤكدًا أن مثل هذه الأفعال مرفوضة تمامًا في ملاعب كرة القدم وتمثل ظاهرة سلبية يجب العمل الجماعي على القضاء عليها.
وقال الاتحاد المصري في بيانه الرسمي: «نثمن بيانات الرفض والإدانة التي صدرت عن الاتحاد الإسباني لكرة القدم ووزارة الرياضة الإسبانية وجميع المسؤولين ونجوم كرة القدم في إسبانيا، والتي أكدت رفضها القاطع لتلك التجاوزات العنصرية».
وأشاد البيان بأداء المنتخب الوطني المصري الذي خاض المباراة بقوة وكفاءة، وكان ندًا قويًا لأصحاب الأرض، في إطار الاستعداد لنهائيات كأس العالم 2026.
وأكد الاتحاد المصري أن المهندس هاني أبو ريدة، رئيس الاتحاد، يعمل بصفته الدولية مع مسؤولي الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) وجميع الشركاء والمؤسسات الدولية لمنع تكرار مثل هذه المشاهد المسيئة في ملاعب العالم، مشدداً على أن «فيفا» يحارب العنصرية ويكافح كل أشكال التمييز في كرة القدم، مطالبًا بالعمل الجاد للقضاء على هذه الظاهرة نهائيًا.
وأوضح الاتحاد المصري أن ما حدث من جانب قلة من الجماهير لن يؤثر مطلقًا على العلاقات الوطيدة بين الاتحادين المصري والإسباني، مشيدًا بالاستقبال الرائع الذي حظيت به بعثة الفراعنة في برشلونة والتسهيلات والدعم المقدم.
وأكد أن مصر دائمًا تفتح ذراعيها لكل ممثلي الكرة الإسبانية ومواطني إسبانيا وكل الدول الصديقة، على أرض الحضارة والمحبة والسلام.
وشهدت المباراة الودية بين مصر وإسبانيا التي انتهت بالتعادل السلبي 0-0 أحداثًا مؤسفة، حيث أطلقت بعض الجماهير الإسبانية هتافات معادية للمسلمين مثل «من لا يقفز فهو مسلم»، بالإضافة إلى صفارات استهجان أثناء عزف النشيد الوطني المصري.
وفتحت شرطة كاتالونيا تحقيقًا رسميًا في «الهتافات الإسلاموفوبية والمعادية للأجانب»، بينما أدان الاتحاد الإسباني والمدرب لويس دي لا فوينتي والحكومة الإسبانية هذه السلوكيات بشدة، ووصفوها بأنها «تشين المجتمع» و«غير مقبولة».
The Egyptian Football Association strongly condemned the “abhorrent racist incident” that occurred at the Espanyol stadium in Barcelona during the friendly match between the Egyptian national team and its Spanish counterpart last night (Tuesday).
The association expressed its complete rejection of some fans chanting racist phrases and slogans against Muslims, in addition to disrespecting the Egyptian national anthem, emphasizing that such actions are entirely unacceptable in football stadiums and represent a negative phenomenon that requires collective efforts to eradicate.
The Egyptian Association stated in its official statement: “We appreciate the statements of rejection and condemnation issued by the Spanish Football Association, the Spanish Ministry of Sports, and all officials and football stars in Spain, which confirmed their absolute rejection of these racist transgressions.”
The statement praised the performance of the Egyptian national team, which played the match with strength and efficiency, being a strong opponent to the hosts, as part of the preparations for the 2026 World Cup finals.
The Egyptian Association confirmed that Engineer Hani Abou Rida, the head of the association, is working in his international capacity with officials from FIFA and all partners and international institutions to prevent the recurrence of such offensive scenes in stadiums worldwide, stressing that “FIFA” fights racism and combats all forms of discrimination in football, calling for serious efforts to completely eradicate this phenomenon.
The Egyptian Association clarified that what happened from a minority of fans will not affect the strong relations between the Egyptian and Spanish federations, praising the wonderful reception that the Pharaohs’ delegation received in Barcelona and the facilities and support provided.
It affirmed that Egypt always opens its arms to all representatives of Spanish football and the citizens of Spain and all friendly countries, on the land of civilization, love, and peace.
The friendly match between Egypt and Spain, which ended in a 0-0 draw, witnessed unfortunate events, as some Spanish fans chanted anti-Muslim slogans such as “He who doesn’t jump is a Muslim,” in addition to booing during the playing of the Egyptian national anthem.
The Catalonia police have opened an official investigation into the “Islamophobic and anti-foreign chants,” while the Spanish Football Association, coach Luis de la Fuente, and the Spanish government strongly condemned these behaviors, describing them as “shaming to society” and “unacceptable.”
