نعت وزارة الداخلية الكويتية شهيدي الواجب المقدم ركن عبد الله عماد الشراح، والرائد فهد عبد العزيز المجمد، من منتسبي الإدارة العامة لأمن الحدود البرية اللذين استشهدا فجر اليوم (الأحد) أثناء أدائهما واجبهما الوطني في إطار المهام الأمنية المنوطة بوزارة الداخلية في حرب طالت دول الخليج.
وأضاف البيان الذي بثه موقع الوزارة الرسمي عبر منصة «فيسبوك»: «تعرب الوزارة عن بالغ الحزن والأسى لهذا المصاب، فإنها تؤكد أن أبناءها من رجال الأمن يواصلون أداء واجبهم بكل شجاعة وتفان في حماية الوطن وصون أمنه واستقراره».
الرائد فهد عبد العزيز المجمد رياضي سابق، بدأ مسيرته الكروية مع نادي القادسية، قبل أن ينتقل لاحقاً إلى كاظمة، ومن ثم السالمية، حيث تألق اعتباراً من 2019، وكان أحد عناصره الأساسية، وحمل شارة القيادة لمواسم عدة، وأعلن اعتزاله في مباراة جمعت السالمية والعربي، ليتفرغ بعدها للخدمة في السلك العسكري برتبة رائد حتى وفاته أثناء أداء الواجب.
ومن جانبه قدم نادي القادسية تعزية خاصة في وفاة اللاعب السابق وكتب في بوست عبر موقعه الرسمي في منصة «X»: «يتقدم نادي القادسية بخالص العزاء وصادق المواساة في وفاة المغفور له بإذن الله تعالى شهيد الواجب الوطني الرائد فهد عبدالعزيز المجمد».
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior mourned the martyrs of duty, Major Abdullah Imad Al-Sharrah, and Captain Fahd Abdulaziz Al-Mujamed, from the General Administration of Border Security, who were martyred early today (Sunday) while performing their national duty as part of the security tasks assigned to the Ministry of Interior in a war that has affected the Gulf countries.
The statement broadcast by the ministry’s official website via the “Facebook” platform added: “The ministry expresses its deep sorrow and grief for this loss, and it affirms that its sons in the security forces continue to perform their duty with courage and dedication in protecting the homeland and preserving its security and stability.”
Captain Fahd Abdulaziz Al-Mujamed was a former athlete, starting his football career with Al-Qadsiah Club before later moving to Kazma, and then to Al-Salmiyah, where he excelled starting in 2019. He was one of its key players, captaining the team for several seasons, and announced his retirement in a match between Al-Salmiyah and Al-Arabi, after which he dedicated himself to serving in the military with the rank of Captain until his death while performing his duty.
For its part, Al-Qadsiah Club offered special condolences for the former player’s death and wrote in a post on its official website on the “X” platform: “Al-Qadsiah Club extends its heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy for the death of the late, may God have mercy on him, martyr of national duty, Captain Fahd Abdulaziz Al-Mujamed.”
