أعلن وزير الدولة لشؤون الشباب والرياضة الكويتي طارق الجلاهمة اليوم (السبت) تعليق كافة الأنشطة والفعاليات الرياضية في البلاد بسبب الأوضاع الإقليمية الراهنة.
وكانت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني في الكويت قد أعلنت تعرض مطار الكويت الدولي لهجوم بطائرة مسيّرة، مؤكدة وقوع إصابات طفيفة لعدد من العاملين، إضافة إلى أضرار مادية محدودة في مبنى الركاب T1.
تعليق شامل حتى إشعار آخر
وقال الجلاهمة في بيان إن قرار تعليق الأنشطة والفعاليات الرياضية يأتي في إطار الإجراءات الاحترازية التي تتخذها الدولة للحفاظ على الأمن والسلامة العامة، موضحاً أنه يشمل المسابقات الرسمية والبطولات والأنشطة الجماهيرية في مختلف الألعاب الرياضية حتى إشعار آخر.
وأضاف أنه سيتم الإعلان عن أي مستجدات تتعلق باستئناف النشاط الرياضي في الوقت المناسب، بالتنسيق مع الجهات المعنية.
ودعا الجلاهمة جميع الاتحادات والأندية الرياضية إلى الالتزام الكامل بالقرار، مؤكداً أن سلامة الجميع هي الأولوية القصوى.
Kuwaiti Minister of State for Youth and Sports, Tareq Al-Jalahema, announced today (Saturday) the suspension of all sports activities and events in the country due to the current regional situation.
The General Directorate of Civil Aviation in Kuwait had announced that Kuwait International Airport was subjected to an attack by a drone, confirming that there were minor injuries to several workers, in addition to limited material damage to Terminal T1.
Comprehensive Suspension Until Further Notice
Al-Jalahema stated in a statement that the decision to suspend sports activities and events comes as part of the precautionary measures taken by the state to maintain security and public safety, clarifying that it includes official competitions, championships, and public activities in various sports until further notice.
He added that any updates regarding the resumption of sports activities will be announced in due time, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
Al-Jalahema urged all sports federations and clubs to fully comply with the decision, emphasizing that the safety of everyone is the top priority.
