فتح رئيس نادي الاتحاد فهد سندي قلبه للجمهور الاتحادي، وتحدث عبر حساب النادي الرسمي عن الأحداث الساخنة التي واجهت النادي في الفترة الماضية، مؤكداً عدم تفكيره في تقديم الاستقالة، عاقداً العزم على الاستمرار خلال الفترة القادمة.
وقال في بداية حديثه: «الأحداث الساخنة موجودة في الوسط الرياضي عموماً وليس الاتحاد فقط، ولكن لأن الاتحاد فريق بطل فكل حدث صغير يعتبر حدثاً ساخناً وله ردود أفعال قوية، ولم أفكر في الاستقالة لأني أنظر إلى عملي مع مجلس الإدارة، وخطتنا واضحة من قبل بداية الموسم، ولا يوجد أي خلافات بين أعضاء مجلس الإدارة، ولكن اختلافات في وجهات النظر لبعض الأوامر، وكان أصعب قرار تغيير الجهاز الفني للفريق الكروي الأول، ففي فترة الصيف لم يكن معسكر الفريق مثالياً كما يجب بناءً على تقرير الإدارة الرياضية، فلذا تم تغيير الجهاز الفني بالتصويت، واختيار المدرب البرتغالي كونسيساو تم بتوصية أيضاً من الإدارة الرياضية».
وعن موقف إدارة النادي من الخلافات التي حدثت بين المدرب كونسيساو وبعض اللاعبين قال «إدارة النادي تحتوي المشاكل التي تحدث، وطبيعي لأن المدرب صارم لا سيما في المواعيد والانضباط، وهناك تقييم شهري للمدرب وتدوين النتائج».
وعن قصة مغادرة كريم بنزيما قال سندي: «لم يكن مخططاً من إدارة النادي، ولكن عندما علمنا أنه سيغادر حتماً تغيرت خططنا، فقد كنا نسعى للتعاقد مع مهاجم شاب أجنبي تحت 21 سنة ليكون مع بنزيما، وكذلك مع مدافع أجنبي للبطولة الآسيوية، ومدافع سعودي، ولكن خروجه -وهي مرحلة وانتهت- أدى إلى تغيير الإستراتيجية، كما أن خروج كانتي لم يكن مخططاً له، ولكنه كان من تبعات خروج بنزيما، واضطررنا إلى التفاوض والتعاقد في الساعات الأخيرة».

Regarding the club’s management stance on the disagreements that occurred between coach Conceição and some players, he said, “The club management addresses the problems that arise, which is natural because the coach is strict, especially regarding schedules and discipline. There is a monthly evaluation for the coach and documentation of the results.”
On the story of Karim Benzema’s departure, Sindi said: “It was not planned by the club management, but when we learned that he would definitely leave, our plans changed. We were seeking to sign a young foreign striker under 21 to be with Benzema, as well as a foreign defender for the Asian championship and a Saudi defender. However, his departure – which is a phase that has ended – led to a change in strategy. Also, Kante’s departure was not planned, but it was a consequence of Benzema’s exit, and we had to negotiate and sign in the last hours.”
