أعلن الكرملين، اليوم، أن الهند لم تبلغهم بوقف مشترياتها من النفط الروسي.
من جهتها، أفادت وكالة «موديز» للتصنيف الائتماني أن الاتفاق التجاري المبرم بين الهند والولايات المتحدة لن يؤدي إلى وقف فوري لمشتريات الهند من النفط الروسي.
وقالت الوكالة في تعليق لها:«من غير المرجح أن توقف الهند جميع وارداتها من النفط الروسي فوراً في أعقاب الاتفاق التجاري مع الولايات المتحدة، فمثل هذه الخطوة ستعرقل النمو الاقتصادي للهند وتؤدي إلى ارتفاع التضخم في البلاد».
توقف وتضخم
ووفقاً لوكالة «موديز»، قد يؤدي توقف الهند التام عن شراء النفط الروسي إلى انخفاض واردات الطاقة من دول أخرى، وارتفاع الأسعار، وبالتالي ارتفاع التضخم، نظراً لأن الهند من أكبر مستوردي النفط في العالم.
وذكرت «بلومبيرغ»، طلب شركات النفط الهندية من الحكومة توضيح موقفها بشأن مشتريات النفط من روسيا.
خفض الرسوم
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، قد أعلن أن الولايات المتحدة والهند توصلتا إلى اتفاقية بشأن بنود التجارة الثنائية، موضحاً أن أمريكا تعتزم خفض الرسوم الجمركية من 25% إلى 18%.
وأكد ترمب أن رئيس الوزراء الهندي، ناريندرا مودي، وافق على وقف شراء النفط الروسي والتحول إلى شراء الوقود من الولايات المتحدة وربما من فنزويلا أيضاً.

For its part, the credit rating agency “Moody’s” reported that the trade agreement between India and the United States will not lead to an immediate halt of India’s purchases of Russian oil.
The agency stated in a comment: “It is unlikely that India will stop all its imports of Russian oil immediately following the trade agreement with the United States, as such a step would hinder India’s economic growth and lead to rising inflation in the country.”
Stagnation and Inflation
According to “Moody’s,” a complete halt by India in purchasing Russian oil could lead to a decrease in energy imports from other countries, an increase in prices, and consequently rising inflation, as India is one of the largest oil importers in the world.
Bloomberg reported that Indian oil companies have requested the government to clarify its position regarding oil purchases from Russia.
Reduction of Tariffs
U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States and India have reached an agreement on terms of bilateral trade, stating that America intends to reduce tariffs from 25% to 18%.
Trump confirmed that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi agreed to halt the purchase of Russian oil and shift to purchasing fuel from the United States and possibly from Venezuela as well.
