اختتمت أمس (السبت) منافسات بطولة الووشو كونغ فو، التي أُقيمت في العاصمة الرياض، بمشاركة لاعبين سعوديين، في حدث رياضي أكد على تنامي حضور اللعبة محليّاً، وتطور مستوى ممارسيها في مختلف الفئات العمرية.
وشهدت البطولة تتويج 50 لاعباً ولاعبة بالميداليات الذهبية، إضافة إلى 50 ميدالية فضية وبرونزية، بعد منافسات شملت جميع المراحل العمرية لفئتي الرجال والسيدات، وأسفرت عن مستويات فنية متقدمة عكست حجم الجهد المبذول في إعداد اللاعبين.
وعلى مستوى ترتيب الأندية، تُوّج نادي سما المواهب بالمركز الأول في الترتيب العام، فيما حلّ نادي بلاك تايغر ثانياً، وجاء نادي كليفر في المركز الثالث، بعد منافسات قوية امتدت على مدار أيام البطولة.
وفي ختام البطولة، جرى تكريم 18 حكماً سعوديّاً وفنيّاً شاركوا في إدارة النزالات والإشراف الفني، تقديراً لدورهم في إنجاح البطولة وتنظيمها وفق الأنظمة المعتمدة.
ويأتي تنظيم البطولة ضمن الجهود المستمرة لتطوير رياضة الووشو كونغ فو في المملكة، وتوسيع قاعدة ممارسيها، ودعم المواهب الوطنية، بما يسهم في إعداد لاعبين قادرين على تمثيل المملكة في المحافل الإقليمية والدولية، في وقت تواصل المملكة تعزيز حضورها الرياضي عبر استضافة البطولات والفعاليات المحلية والدولية لمختلف الألعاب، وتوفير بيئة تنظيمية متكاملة تعكس اهتمامها بتنويع الرياضات العالمية، ودعم الاحتراف، وترسيخ مكانتها وجهةً رائدةً لاستضافة الأحداث الرياضية الكبرى.
The Wushu Kung Fu Championship, held in the capital Riyadh, concluded yesterday (Saturday) with the participation of Saudi players. This sports event highlighted the growing presence of the sport locally and the development of its practitioners across various age groups.
The championship saw 50 male and female athletes awarded gold medals, in addition to 50 silver and bronze medals, after competitions that included all age categories for both men and women, resulting in advanced technical levels that reflected the effort invested in preparing the athletes.
In terms of club rankings, Al-Sama Club was crowned first in the overall standings, while Black Tiger Club came in second, and Clever Club secured third place, following intense competitions that spanned the days of the championship.
At the conclusion of the championship, 18 Saudi referees and officials who participated in managing the matches and overseeing the technical aspects were honored, in recognition of their role in the success and organization of the championship according to the approved regulations.
The organization of the championship is part of ongoing efforts to develop Wushu Kung Fu in the Kingdom, expand its practitioner base, and support national talents, contributing to the preparation of athletes capable of representing the Kingdom in regional and international forums. Meanwhile, the Kingdom continues to enhance its sports presence by hosting local and international championships and events across various sports, providing a comprehensive organizational environment that reflects its commitment to diversifying global sports, supporting professionalism, and establishing its position as a leading destination for hosting major sporting events.
