وتنطلق المباراة في تمام الرابعة وخمس وعشرين دقيقة مساءً بتوقيت مكة المكرمة، على ملعب «الأمير محمد بن فهد».

ويدخل الشباب المواجهة تحت شعار «لا بديل عن الفوز»، بقيادة مدربه الإسباني إيمانويل ألغواسيل، في محاولة لتفادي الدخول في حسابات الهبوط، وإنهاء حالة التراجع التي يعانيها الفريق.
وأهدر «الليوث» 5 نقاط من أصل 6 خلال آخر مباراتين، بعد الخسارة أمام النصر بنتيجة 3-2، ثم التعادل السلبي مع النجمة، ليتراجع إلى المركز الرابع عشر برصيد 12 نقطة، بفارق نقطتين فقط عن منطقة الهبوط.
الخليج يسعى لاستعادة توازنه
على الجانب الآخر، يطمح فريق الخليج في استعادة توازنه سريعاً، والعودة إلى نغمة الانتصارات بعد الهزيمة الثقيلة أمام الأهلي 4-1 في الجولة الماضية.
ويحتل الخليج المركز الثامن في جدول ترتيب دوري روشن السعودي برصيد 24 نقطة، جمعها من 7 انتصارات و3 تعادلات مقابل 6 هزائم.
