أعلن رئيس الاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم «كاف»، باتريس موتسيبي، تأجيل بطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية 2027، المقررة إقامتها في كينيا وتنزانيا وأوغندا.
مهلة إضافية
وقال موتسيبي، خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقده اليوم (السبت): «كان من المقرر أن تُقام النسخة القادمة من بطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية في فبراير 2027، لكننا قررنا تأجيلها إلى أغسطس من العام نفسه، لمنح الدول المستضيفة فرصة إضافية لضخ المزيد من الأموال، وتنظيم بطولة تليق بمكانة كرة القدم الأفريقية».
ختام «أمم أفريقيا 2025»
وتُختتم غداً (الأحد) منافسات بطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية 2025، المقامة حالياً في المغرب، بإقامة المباراة النهائية التي تجمع بين المغرب والسنغال.
طريق المنتخبين إلى النهائي
كان المنتخب المغربي قد بلغ النهائي بعد فوزه على نيجيريا بركلات الترجيح 4-2، عقب انتهاء الوقتين الأصلي والإضافي بالتعادل السلبي، فيما تأهل المنتخب السنغالي على حساب منتخب مصر بالفوز عليه بهدف دون مقابل.
The President of the African Football Confederation (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, announced the postponement of the Africa Cup of Nations 2027, which was scheduled to be held in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

Motsepe stated during a press conference held today (Saturday): “The next edition of the Africa Cup of Nations was scheduled to take place in February 2027, but we have decided to postpone it to August of the same year, to give the host countries an additional opportunity to inject more funds and organize a tournament worthy of the status of African football.”

The Africa Cup of Nations 2025, currently being held in Morocco, will conclude tomorrow (Sunday) with the final match between Morocco and Senegal.

The Moroccan national team reached the final after defeating Nigeria in a penalty shootout 4-2, following a goalless draw in both regular and extra time, while the Senegalese team qualified at the expense of the Egyptian team by winning 1-0.
