طالب نادي الخلود من المسؤولين في وزارة الرياضة ورابطة دوري روشن بإقامة جميع مبارياته القادمة في الدوري في محافظة الرس وعلى ملعبه الخاص، جاء ذلك خلال البيان الرسمي الذي أصدرة النادي عبر منصة التواصل الاجتماعي «X»، وأضاف يقول: «بغض النظر عن الفريق المنافس أو حجم جماهيره. فالملعب مُصمّم لخدمة جمهور الفريق المضيف، وفي كرة القدم الاحترافية، لا يجب أن يحدد حجم جماهير الفريق الضيف مكان إقامة المباراة»، وأعرب البيان الرسمي ن امتنان النادي لوزارة الرياضة ورابطة الدوري السعودي للمحترفين على جهودهم المستمرة في تطوير الدوري السعودي للمحترفين ورفع مستوى المنافسات الرياضية، بما يخدم مصالح الأندية وجماهيرها على حد سواء.
كما ثمّن النادي موافقة الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم على استضافة مباراة نصف نهائي كاس خادم الحرمين الشريفين في محافظة الرس، وهو قرار بعكس الالتزام بتمكين الأندية من استضافة المباريات الكبرى في مدنها الأصلية، وتابع البيان: «أشهر الأندية الأوروبية ذات الشعبية الكبيرة، مثل برشلونة وريال مدريد، قد لعبت في ملاعب صغيرة نسبيًا دون أي احتجاج أو طلب لنقل مبارياتهم إلى ملاعب أخرى»، لافتاً إلى أن قوة الدوري وتحفيز الجماهير على الحضور ينبعان من إقامة المباريات في مدينة النادي المضيف، حيث يعزز هذا الترابط المحلي الانتماء والولاء والتفاعل الحقيقي مع الفريق.
ويؤكد نادي الخلود في نهاية البيان استعداده الكامل للمساهمة في تطوير وتجهيز ملعبه لاستضافة المباريات بأعلى معايير الجودة والسلامة، ويعرب عن أمله أن تقام جميع مباريات الدوري المستقبلية في محافظة الرس، بما يخدم تطوير الدوري ويعزز تجربة الجماهير.
The Al-Khulood Club has requested the officials at the Ministry of Sports and the Roshan League to hold all of its upcoming league matches in Al-Rass and at its own stadium. This was stated in the official statement issued by the club via the social media platform “X.” It added: “Regardless of the opposing team or the size of its fanbase, the stadium is designed to serve the home team’s audience. In professional football, the size of the visiting team’s fans should not determine the venue of the match.” The official statement expressed the club’s gratitude to the Ministry of Sports and the Saudi Professional League for their ongoing efforts to develop the Saudi Professional League and enhance the level of sports competitions, benefiting both the clubs and their fans alike.
The club also appreciated the Saudi Football Federation’s approval to host the semi-final match of the King’s Cup in Al-Rass, a decision that reflects the commitment to empower clubs to host major matches in their original cities. The statement continued: “Some of the most popular European clubs, such as Barcelona and Real Madrid, have played in relatively small stadiums without any objections or requests to move their matches to other venues,” noting that the strength of the league and the motivation for fans to attend stem from holding matches in the host club’s city, as this local connection enhances belonging, loyalty, and genuine interaction with the team.
