أكملت اللجنة المحلية المنظمة لكأس آسيا (2027)، جاهزية الملاعب المستضيفة لمنافسات بطولة كأس آسيا تحت 23 عاماً (2026) السعودية في مدينتَي الرياض وجدة،ضمن التحضيرات النهائية لانطلاق الحدث القاري، الذي تستضيفه المملكة خلال الفترة من 6 إلى 24 يناير الجاري، بمشاركة 16 منتخباً آسيوياً.
وشملت الجاهزية أربعة ملاعب رئيسية هي ملعب مدينة الأمير فيصل بن فهد الرياضية، وملعب نادي الشباب في الرياض، وملعب مدينة الأمير عبدالله الفيصل الرياضية، والملعب الرديف بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية في جدة، وجرى استكمال جميع الأعمال الفنية والتشغيلية وفق المتطلبات والمعايير المعتمدة من قبل الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم.
وتضمنت أعمال الجاهزية تهيئة أرضيات الملاعب، وتوسعة المدرجات في الملعب الرديف لمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية، إلى جانب تطبيق خطط الأمن والسلامة، ومسارات دخول وخروج الجماهير، بما يضمن تجربة تنظيمية متكاملة داخل الملاعب وخارجها.
ونفّذت اللجنة المحلية المنظمة، بالتعاون مع الجهات ذات العلاقة، عدداً من التجارب التشغيلية والاختبارات الميدانية في الملاعب المستضيفة؛ بهدف التأكد من كفاءة الأنظمة التشغيلية، ورفع مستوى التنسيق بين الفرق العاملة، وضمان الجاهزية الكاملة قبل انطلاق المنافسات.
وأكدت اللجنة أن اكتمال جاهزية الملاعب يعكس تطور البنية التحتية الرياضية في المملكة، ويجسّد قدرتها على استضافة البطولات القارية وفق أعلى المعايير الاحترافية، مشيرةً إلى أن بطولة كأس آسيا تحت 23 عاماً تمثل محطة رئيسية ضمن مسار الاستعداد لاستضافة كأس آسيا (2027) السعودية.
The local organizing committee for the AFC Asian Cup (2027) has completed the readiness of the host stadiums for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup (2026) in Saudi Arabia, in the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah, as part of the final preparations for the continental event, which will be hosted by the Kingdom from January 6 to 24, with the participation of 16 Asian teams.
The readiness included four main stadiums: Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, Al-Shabab Club Stadium in Riyadh, Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium, and the secondary stadium at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah. All technical and operational works have been completed according to the requirements and standards approved by the Asian Football Confederation.
The readiness efforts included preparing the playing surfaces, expanding the stands in the secondary stadium at King Abdullah Sports City, as well as implementing security and safety plans, and crowd entry and exit routes, ensuring a comprehensive organizational experience inside and outside the stadiums.
The local organizing committee, in collaboration with relevant authorities, conducted a number of operational trials and field tests at the host stadiums to ensure the efficiency of the operational systems, enhance coordination among the working teams, and guarantee full readiness before the competitions commence.
The committee confirmed that the completion of the stadiums’ readiness reflects the development of the sports infrastructure in the Kingdom and embodies its ability to host continental championships according to the highest professional standards, noting that the U-23 Asian Cup represents a key milestone in the preparation path for hosting the AFC Asian Cup (2027) in Saudi Arabia.
