انطلقت اليوم، منافسات كأس الملوك للمنتخبات 2026 في مدينة ساو باولو البرازيلية، بمشاركة (20) منتخباً وطنياً من مختلف قارات العالم، من بينها أربعة منتخبات عربية، في النسخة الثانية من البطولة التي تأتي امتداداً للنجاح الكبير الذي حققته في نسختها الافتتاحية.
وتشارك في البطولة منتخبات السعودية، وقطر، والجزائر، والمغرب، في مشاركة تمثل اختباراً لقدرة المنتخبات العربية على المنافسة ضمن منظومة كروية حديثة تجمع بين الأداء الرياضي وصناعة المحتوى الرقمي، وتقدم نموذجاً جديداً لكرة القدم الترفيهية ذات الطابع العالمي.
ويخوض المنتخب السعودي منافساته في المجموعة الخامسة إلى جانب منتخبات المكسيك، والهند، وإندونيسيا. ويشارك منتخب قطر في المجموعة الرابعة إلى جانب منتخبات البرازيل، وإسبانيا، وبيرو.
ويشارك منتخب المغرب ضمن المجموعة الأولى إلى جانب منتخبات كولومبيا، وتشيلي، وهولندا، ويخوض منتخب الجزائر منافساته في المجموعة الثالثة التي تضم منتخبات إيطاليا، وفرنسا، وبولندا.
ويعد المنتخب السعودي أول المنتخبات العربية خوضاً لمنافسات البطولة، عندما يواجه منتخب المكسيك اليوم عند التاسعة مساءً، وتخوض المنتخبات العربية الثلاثة الأخرى مبارياتها الأولى غداً (الأحد)، إذ يلتقي منتخب الجزائر مع بولندا، ويواجه منتخب قطر نظيره البيروفي، ويلتقي منتخب المغرب مع كولومبيا.
وتستمر منافسات البطولة حتى (17) يناير الجاري، وتشهد إقامة (40) مباراة، على أن تُختتم بالمباراة النهائية على ملعب أليانز باركي، في مدينة ساو باولو.
وتُقام نسخة عام 2026 في البرازيل، بعد أن استضافت إيطاليا منافسات النسخة الماضية، التي شهدت تتويج المنتخب البرازيلي باللقب، ليعود في النسخة الحالية للدفاع عن لقبه على أرضه وأمام جماهيره.
وتقام البطولة ضمن منظومة دوري الملوك، وتهدف إلى إعادة تقديم كرة القدم بأسلوب عصري يتماشى مع تطلعات الجيل الرقمي، من خلال مباريات سباعية سريعة الإيقاع وقواعد مبتكرة تجمع بين المنافسة الرياضية وصناعة المحتوى.
The King’s Cup for national teams 2026 kicked off today in São Paulo, Brazil, with the participation of 20 national teams from various continents, including four Arab teams, in the second edition of the tournament that follows the great success achieved in its inaugural edition.
The tournament features the teams of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Algeria, and Morocco, representing a test of the Arab teams’ ability to compete within a modern football system that combines athletic performance and digital content creation, presenting a new model for global entertainment football.
The Saudi team competes in Group E alongside the teams of Mexico, India, and Indonesia. The Qatari team participates in Group D alongside the teams of Brazil, Spain, and Peru.
The Moroccan team is in Group A alongside the teams of Colombia, Chile, and the Netherlands, while the Algerian team competes in Group C, which includes the teams of Italy, France, and Poland.
The Saudi team is the first Arab team to participate in the tournament, facing the Mexican team today at 9 PM, while the other three Arab teams will play their first matches tomorrow (Sunday), with Algeria meeting Poland, Qatar facing Peru, and Morocco taking on Colombia.
The tournament will continue until January 17, featuring 40 matches, culminating in the final match at Allianz Parque in São Paulo.
The 2026 edition is held in Brazil, after Italy hosted the previous edition, which saw the Brazilian team crowned champions, returning in the current edition to defend its title on home soil and in front of its fans.
The tournament is part of the Kings League system and aims to reintroduce football in a modern style that aligns with the aspirations of the digital generation, through fast-paced seven-a-side matches and innovative rules that combine sports competition with content creation.
