عبّر مدرب فريق نابولي أنطونيو كونتي عن سعادته الكبيرة بتتويج فريقه بلقب كأس السوبر الإيطالي، مؤكداً أن لاعبيه استحقوا الفوز بعد مشوار قوي، مشيداً في الوقت ذاته بتطور كرة القدم السعودية، وما يقدمه المدرب الإيطالي سيموني إنزاغي مع فريق الهلال.
وقال كونتي في المؤتمر الصحفي عقب نهاية المباراة: «قدّمنا مباراة كبيرة، ولعبنا بقوة حتى في أصعب الفترات. حافظنا على النتائج رغم الإرهاق وضغط المباريات، وجئنا إلى هنا من أجل الدفاع عن الشعار واللقب الذي نحمله على قمصاننا».
وأضاف: «خضنا نهائياً قويّاً أمام فريق كبير مثل إنتر، ثم واصلنا العمل ونجحنا اليوم في تحقيق الفوز. اللاعبون أظهروا رغبة حقيقية في الانتصار، وعطشاً للفوز بهذه الكأس، وإصراراً على مواصلة كتابة تاريخ النادي».
وتابع مدرب نابولي: «أبارك للاعبين؛ لأنهم قدّموا كل ما لديهم، وهذا التتويج جاء نتيجة عمل جماعي وروح عالية داخل المجموعة».
وعن تقييمه للأداء، قال كونتي: «إذا كان هناك ما يجب تحسينه، فهو استغلال الفرص. أضعنا العديد من الفرص السهلة، وكان من الممكن إنهاء الشوط الأول بفارق مريح. عندما تُبقي الخصم في أجواء المباراة، فإنك تعرّض نفسك للخطر، ولهذا شددت على أهمية التركيز».
وأشاد كونتي بتجربة إقامة البطولة في السعودية قائلاً: «التجربة في السعودية كانت إيجابية جداً. بقينا معاً لأسبوع كامل، وهذا مهم لتعزيز الانسجام. البيئة هنا احترافية ومتكاملة، ليس فقط للاعبين بل حتى للأجهزة الفنية، والعمل هنا يمنحك شعوراً بالاستقرار والطموح».
وعن المدربين الكبار في الدوري السعودي، قال: «استقطاب مدربين كبار يساهم بشكل مباشر في تطوير كرة القدم. عندما تستمر الأسماء الكبيرة في العمل هنا، فإن مستوى اللعبة سيرتفع خلال فترة قصيرة».
وفي حديثه عن مدرب الهلال، قال كونتي: «سيموني إنزاغي مدرب كبير وصاحب تجربة مميزة، ووجوده مع فريق بحجم الهلال يعكس تطور المشروع الكروي في السعودية. الهلال نادٍ كبير بتاريخ وجماهيرية، والعمل في مثل هذه البيئة يمنح أي مدرب دافعاً إضافياً للنجاح».
واختتم مدرب نابولي حديثه قائلاً: «نحن نعلم أن الموسم صعب، لكن علينا الاستمرار في العمل. التشاؤم انتهى، والمنافسة مفتوحة في الدوري. في كرة القدم والحياة، لا ينبغي أن نقول أبداً: مستحيل».
Napoli coach Antonio Conte expressed his great happiness at his team’s victory in the Italian Super Cup, confirming that his players deserved the win after a strong journey, while also praising the development of Saudi football and what Italian coach Simone Inzaghi is doing with Al Hilal.
Conte said at the press conference following the match: “We played a great match and fought hard even during the toughest periods. We maintained our results despite fatigue and the pressure of matches, and we came here to defend the badge and the title we carry on our shirts.”
He added: “We faced a strong final against a great team like Inter, and then we continued to work and succeeded today in achieving victory. The players showed a genuine desire to win and a thirst for this cup, along with determination to continue writing the club’s history.”
Napoli’s coach continued: “I congratulate the players because they gave everything they had, and this victory came as a result of collective effort and high spirit within the group.”
Regarding his assessment of the performance, Conte said: “If there is something to improve, it is taking advantage of opportunities. We missed many easy chances, and we could have ended the first half with a comfortable lead. When you keep the opponent in the game, you expose yourself to danger, which is why I emphasized the importance of focus.”
Conte praised the experience of holding the tournament in Saudi Arabia, saying: “The experience in Saudi Arabia was very positive. We stayed together for a whole week, which is important for enhancing harmony. The environment here is professional and integrated, not only for the players but also for the coaching staff, and working here gives you a sense of stability and ambition.”
About the top coaches in the Saudi league, he said: “Attracting top coaches directly contributes to the development of football. When big names continue to work here, the level of the game will rise in a short period.”
In his comments about the Al Hilal coach, Conte said: “Simone Inzaghi is a great coach with a unique experience, and his presence with a team the size of Al Hilal reflects the development of the football project in Saudi Arabia. Al Hilal is a big club with history and a large fan base, and working in such an environment gives any coach an additional motivation to succeed.”
Conte concluded his remarks by saying: “We know that the season is tough, but we must continue to work. Pessimism is over, and the competition in the league is open. In football and in life, we should never say: impossible.”
