حقق منتخبنا الوطني للناشئين فوزا «قاتلا» على منتخب نيوزيلندا بنتيجة (3-2)، في ثاني مواجهاته في بطولة «كأس العالم تحت 17 عاما 2025» في قطر، في المباراة التي جرت بينهما اليوم، على ملعب رقم 7 في أكاديمية أسباير في الدوحة.
سجل أهداف المنتخب السعودي عبدالرحمن السفياني (د:2) وصبري دهل (د:58) وثاري أحمد (د:90+1)، فيما أحرز هدفَي نيوزيلندا نونيز (د:55) وبيرنيسكي (د:83).
شهد اللقاء بداية قوية لناشئي الأخضر وتمكن عبدالرحمن سفياني من إحراز هدف مبكر بعد هجمة منظمة ومن كرة مرتدة من مدافع نيوزيلندا اصطدمت بعبدالرحمن سفياني وتحولت إلى الشباك (د:2)، وردّ منتخب نيوزيلندا بهدف التعادل عبر تسديدة ماتيوس نونيز التي تغيّر مسارها بعد ارتطامها بأحد المدافعين (د:55)، قبل أن يعيد صبري دهل التقدم للسعودية إثر انفراد وأنهى الكرة بثقة في المرمى النيوزلندي (د:58)، وعادل جاك بيرنيسكي النتيجة بكعب رائع قبل دقائق من النهاية (د:83)، لكن ثاري أحمد خطف الفوز للأخضر في الوقت بدل الضائع بتسديدة قوية هزّت الشباك وأشعلت فرحة سعودية كبيرة (د:90+1)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز الأخضر السعودي بنتيجة 3-2.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق منتخبنا الوطني أول 3 نقاط وله 3 أهداف وعليه مثلها ويحتل المركز الثالث بفارق اللعب النظيف عن منتخب مالي الذي يملك العدد ذاته من النقاط والرصيد من الأهداف، وحسبَ نظام البطولة، يتأهل أول منتخبين من كل مجموعةٍ، إلى جانب أفضل ثمانية منتخباتٍ من أصحاب المركز الثالث إلى دور الـ32، ويحتاج منتخبنا الوطني للفوز أو التعادل لضمان التأهل للدور الثاني، أما الخسارة فتجعله ينتظر نتائج المنتخبات الأخرى.
يُذكر أن المنتخب الوطني تحت 17 عاما يأتي في المجموعة الـ12 في كأس العالم، التي تضم إلى جانبه منتخبات النمسا، ومالي، ونيوزيلندا.
Our national under-17 team achieved a “killer” victory over New Zealand with a score of (3-2) in their second match in the “2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup” in Qatar, in the match that took place today at Stadium No. 7 in the Aspire Academy in Doha.
Saudi Arabia’s goals were scored by Abdulrahman Al-Sufyani (2′), Sabri Dahil (58′), and Thari Ahmed (90+1′), while New Zealand’s goals were scored by Nunez (55′) and Berneski (83′).
The match witnessed a strong start from the young Green team, and Abdulrahman Al-Sufyani managed to score an early goal after an organized attack and a rebound off a New Zealand defender that hit Abdulrahman Al-Sufyani and turned into the net (2′). New Zealand responded with an equalizer through a shot from Matheus Nunez that changed direction after hitting one of the defenders (55′), before Sabri Dahil restored the lead for Saudi Arabia following a breakaway, confidently finishing the ball into the New Zealand net (58′). Jack Berneski equalized with a brilliant backheel just minutes before the end (83′), but Thari Ahmed snatched the victory for the Green team in stoppage time with a powerful shot that shook the net and ignited great joy among Saudis (90+1′), ending the match with a 3-2 victory for the Saudi Green.
With this result, our national team earns its first 3 points, with 3 goals scored and the same number conceded, placing them third based on fair play compared to Mali, which has the same number of points and goal tally. According to the tournament system, the top two teams from each group, along with the best eight third-placed teams, will qualify for the Round of 32. Our national team needs to win or draw to secure qualification for the second round; a loss would leave them waiting for the results of other teams.
It is worth mentioning that the national under-17 team is in Group 12 of the World Cup, alongside the teams from Austria, Mali, and New Zealand.
